International Sport Jujitsu Association
A non-profit organization the International Sport Ju-jitsu Association's objectives are:
1. To promote the growth of Sport Ju-jitsu in a positive manner, without losing touch with the virtues of ....the art itself.
2. To assure fair play and equal opportunity to all martial artists who wish to participate in Sport Ju-jitsu.
3. To unite and keep solidarity among martial artists regardless of style.
4. To someday see Sport Ju-jitsu accepted as an official Olympic sport.
The ISJA is the world-wide governing body for Sport Ju-jitsu and serves as an umbrella organization for major jujitsu groups to promote the growth of Sport Ju-jitsu. It has a uniform set of rules & regulations that all representatives must follow.
A copy of the constitution and by-laws is provided to every country representative upon receipt of membership.
Members of the ISJA are entitled to represent their country in legitimate ISJA International Sport Juj-itsu competitions, with the ISJA World Championships, taking place every two years.
